Dr Chandana Goswami

Professor Chandana Goswami is the former Dean, School of Management Sciences at Tezpur University. Earlier she was Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and also was Head, Dept. Of Business Administration. 

She did her MBA and PhD from Gauhati University, FDP from IIM Ahmedabad and was a British Chevening fellow in 2004. She has gone as a NAAC member to several universities and colleges across India.

She is involved with teaching and research at Tezpur University and has over 30  years of academic experience. She has produced nine PhDs so far.  Over the years she has attended several workshops and MDPs conducted by IIE and IIMs. She acts as a resource person to the faculty development programs conducted by different universities and colleges.

She has presented research papers within the country as well as abroad.  Additionally she is a corporate trainer and has conducted trainings for Powergrid, Numaligarh Refinery,  Oil India ... to name a few.

In 2019 she attended “Leadership for Academicians program” sponsored by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India, where one week of the training was in Penn State University in the USA.  She was also selected for a Fulbright program in the USA last year, which got postponed due to covid.  She is a Senior Certified Professional Coach (trained by Coach Transformation Academy, Dubai). Tezpur University has granted her permission to launch her OPC that will offer life skill related services.

Prof. Goswami is currently a professor in the Dept. of Business Administration.
