16th June, Guwahati: The NER Chapter of PHDCCI is association with Margdarshak Advisory organizes ‘ASPIRE'23 at NEDFi Convention Centre, Dispur, Guwahati.  The conclave saw a gathering of 100+ women entrepreneurs and domain experts from various spheres and backgrounds. The conclave was supported by Oil India Ltd., State Bank of India, Small Industries Bank of India (SIDBI), North East Small Finance Bank and North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi). The objective of the event was to recognize the importance of women entrepreneurs and provide them with equal opportunities and support. It also aimed to provide a platform for insightful discussions, exchange of ideas, and empowerment of women from diverse backgrounds across the state.

A few women entrepreneurs were selected from the conclave and shall be provided with mentoring and handholding support for a period of six months. Mr. Bibhuti Dutta, Dy. Resident Director (NER), PHDCCI gave the welcome address where he highlighted the importance of women's contribution in the business sector. The introductory remark was delivered by Dr. Sriparna Baruah, Advisor, Margdarshak Advisory and NEHHDC. Ms. Dipannita Jaiswal, Managing Director- BTPL (Dy365, Jonak & NL TV); Ms. Ranjana Bhajanka, Founder- OxyZone Landscape; Ms. Runa Rafique, Co-Founder- Saraighat Farms; Ms. Binita Baishya, Proprietor- Saraswati Silk Udyog; Ms. Sunakshi Agarwal, Founder (CEO)- Ardpure, shared their entrepreneurial journey.

The topic for the Panel 1 was "Creating an ecosystem for acceleration of women enterprises" and was moderated by Dr. Sriparna Barua, Advisor, Margdarshak Advisory and NEHHDC. The eminent panelists for the Panel-1 were Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nath, Deputy General Manager- SIDBI; Mr. Debojyoti Dutta, Assistant General Manager- State Bank of India; Mr. Lemli Loyi, General Manager- NEDFi; Mr. Mayank Bandopadhyay, Deputy General Manager- NSIC. The topic for the Panel 2 was "Supporting Women Entrepreneurs through government Initiatives and CSR" and was moderated by Mr. Pranjal Konwar, COO- Assam Start-up- The Nest. The eminent panelists for the Panel 2 were- Mr. Pranta Pratim Sinha, Chief Manager- Numaligarh Refinery Ltd.; Dr. Geetima Das Krishna, Head, North East Desk- Invest India; Brig. Rajiv Kumar Singh, Managing Director- NEHHDC.

A post lunch Mentor-Mentee session was organized to provide mentorship and hand-holding support to a few selected entrepreneurs. The eminent mentors of the session were- Dr. Samir Baruah, Former Corporate General Manager- Indian Overseas Bank; Mr. Rajeev Goswami, Former Vice President- East- Usha Int.; Mr. Mukul Das, Senior General Manager- National Institute of Smart Government; Ms. Smitakshi Baruah Goswami, Managing Director, Sadin-Pratidin Group; Mr. Ranju Kumar Mohan, IKIGROW Consumers LLP; and Dr. Madhumita Saikia, Founder, Arleng Symphony.
