On 3rd September 2022, Margdarshak Advisory organised an awareness session on “Entrepreneurship for Healthcare Professionals” at Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya. This session was all about introducing entrepreneurship to healthcare professionals. Our chief advisor respected Dr. Sriparna Baruah, who is a veteran in the field of entrepreneurship presided over the session. We were privileged to have with us Mr.Shantikam Hazarika, Founder & Ex-director of Assam Institute of Management(AIM). He is the pioneer to introducing the importance of management skills among students in Assam way back in 90’s and emphasized on corporate readiness.
The session was very informative and brought a lot of important insights regarding the scope of entrepreneurship in the field of healthcare. Dr. Sriparna Baruah explained the meaning of entrepreneurship, highlighted the future opportunities on being self-employed and how the ecosystem is changing rapidly to cater to unemployment issues in the country. Mr. Shaktikam Hazarika briefly shared on the scope of entrepreneurship in the field of healthcare.
The session was concluded with a problem solving round. The participants were asked to mention the challenges they encountered when consulting with patients and how entrepreneurship can intervene to solve the problems and become a great opportunity in future.
