INTRODUCTION

The locational disadvantage of the region can now be looked as locational advantage considering the "Act East" Policy of the Government of India. The region during the past decades has witnessed significant development in the infrastructure and connectivity which have created the base for further development. However, there still seems to be a gap in the area of guidance and mentoring which is required for faster economic development. To boost the morale of the prospective entrepreneurs as well as investors interested to venture into the region. There is also a need to intervene in the Govt. and policy level through research and support to government projects for better and timely implementation. Considering the importance, we the few professionals with wide range of field level practical experiences of NER have launched MARAGDARSHAK ADVISORY to provide one stop solution to aspiring Entrepreneurs and both at Government and corporate sector. With our understanding of the NER, our approach would be completely Northeast Centric identifying the gaps in the services and providing the best solution with area specific professional and Industrialist expertise.

In order to address the above pain points, Margdarshak Advisory was formally launched at Taj Vivanta, Guwahati in 2019.

The private consulting firms act as a watch-dog and facilitator for quick execution of peripheral services and add-ons to the already existing mechanism. Margdarshak Advisory can be seen as an Enabler of Economic growth through its wide range of handholding and business services. We primarily cater to MSME which is the backbone of the Nation and the Start-up segment follows it. Much has been done for the Start-up segment and recently, the MSME segment seems to have attention from the government. There seems to be less desire of the youths towards being entrepreneurial in nature wherein Margdarshak Advisory wants to play a role. Our initiatives like Prayas followed by Sambhab are some of our in-house services and are curated keeping in mind the regional sensitive segment.
