Ochintya Sharma

Ochintya Sharma has spent more than three decades in the areas of Wireless Communications, HighTech Software and Executive Management. He is fortunate to have been an active participant in some of the defining technologies of our times: Cellular communications, GPS Navigation, Mobile Internet, Smart phones, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. His professional assignments include: Vice President, Samsung R&D India, Vice President Engineering, SiRF Technologies, Global Head of Engineering, Binatone and Head of Wireless Internet SBU, Motorola India. He has also spearheaded the startups- TrueSpan Semiconductors and Hubble Connected. Currently he is the Co-Founder of Oxome Consulting, where he offers consulting services in the areas of business enablement, connected products, innovation management and organization strategy. His passion is mentoring both companies and entrepreneurs on customer insight, end-to-end thinking, and business planning. Ochintya is a Chevening Rolls-Royce Science and Innovation Leadership Fellow from the University of Oxford. He obtained his Master's degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and his B. Tech, from National Institute of Technology, Warangal. An avid quizzer, he was the President of the Karnataka Quiz Association and a semifinalist in the TV Show, BBC Mastermind.
