MR. CHINMOY SHARMA is a well known and one of the successful entrepreneurs of the Northeastern region with the following multiple activities. He is a pioneer of all the entrepreneurial activities like entertainment industries, renewable energy sources and TV & communication sector. Mr. Sharma is the Managing Partner, Anuradha Cineplex with a single-screen cinema hall. Mr. Sharma was instrumental in bringing in the satellite technology in film delivery instead of the traditional print, thereby introducing the digital projection for the first time in the North East and many more in the cinema world.

Mr. Sharma is the Managing Director, North East Green Tech Pvt. Ltd. A decade back. He realized the need of sustainable Organic farming practices in the Northeastern part of India. He established the company in the year 1995 with technical assistance from M/s. Terra Firma Technologies, Bangalore. The company initially started manufacturing Vermicompost in the brand name of “Black Gold” by converting bio-degradable city wastes through vermin-technology and in order to give a new dimension in the field of organic farming in the year 2011.

He is the Managing Director, North East Renewable Energy Sources Pvt. Ltd. Popularizing Solar Powered systems by being the business associates of M/s. TATA BP SOLAR INDIA Ltd. (now known as TATA Power Solar Systems Limited), Bangalore for the Northeastern parts of India in two decades ago.

Mr. Sharma is the Director, Sangita Communication Pvt. Ltd. The company was established in the year 1995 and since its inception it has undertaken many activities which were considered path breaking and innovative and such endeavors have made Sangita Communications a pioneer & front runner in the IT Sector of the North East Region.

Mr. Sharma was the first in the installation of the operation of a closed-circuit television network at Guwahati Railway station. Pioneer in the field of television programs produced in the Northeastern part of India. In the year 1990 produced the FIRST SPONSORED SERIAL over Doordarshan Kendra, Guwahati – “Jibonor Batot”.  He was the Executive Producer of the first film song based weekly serial over Doordarshan, Northeast, “Your Request Our Pleasure”, which was on air for nearly five years and completed more than 150 episodes.  Producer of the serial, “Geetimalika”, the first serial over Doordarshan, Guwahati to have completed 100 episodes.  As the CEO of Om Shanti Channel Pvt. Ltd., produced the first daily serial “Om Shanti” over Doordarshan, Northeast. Executive Producer of serial “Bideshat Apon Manuh”, the first Assamese serial shot entirely in foreign countries which was aired and completed 230 episodes.

Mr. Sharma was also the Director : Federation of Industries & Commerce of North-Eastern Region (FINER) and Member : Brahma Kumaris Media, Mount Abu, Rajasthan.
