Dr. Madhumita Saikia

Founder and present Principal Director of Signature Beauty & Ayurveda Institute. The institution has many franchisees all over Assam and some other parts of India, engaged in training, educating and developing beauty & Wellness courses: beauty, hair, makeup, yoga, herbs culture, cosmetology, Ayurveda and holistic therapies, since 1998. A range of beauty, hair and body care products by the brand name of Signature La products, blended and marketed with a good market share in North East India. 

At a personal level she is the GC (Governing Council) member in the board of BWSSC, NSDC, Ministry of Skill Development, Govt of India. Head of HR sub-committee, B&WSSC, Board member of Skill India. She has penned down 6(six) technical books in English and Assamese, published 6(six) fictions. A life time executive member of Assam Sahitya Sabha. She is a patron member of the Guwahati Press Club. Prolific writer as a beauty columnist, researcher in traditional medicine, presenter of beauty and social topics in electronic media. Visited China, UK, Australia, Myanmar as guest faculty in Ayurveda and expert of Skills India. She is a doctorate degree holder from Gauhati University.

Presently, sincerely devoting in herbs cultivation, culture and R&D of local herbs for marketing, sales and production of beauty and body care products for domestic and international market. Building an ashram for Ayurveda education, treatment and product research. Felicitated and recognized by Chief Minister of Assam in 2018, on behalf of the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Indian Chamber of Commerce, NEBCUS, AIHBA (All India) NESSI (Kolkata) for her entrepreneurship endeavors.
