Parag Phukan is a senior chemical Engineer and a former top corporate executive in PSUs and Private enterprises in Assam, Mumbai and Gujarat; professional career spanning for more than four decades of which two decades out of Assam. The last assignment before superannuation was the Sr. Vice President, Reliance Defence & Engineering Ltd, Gujarat & Mumbai. He Held management positions of various capacities in Petro-chemicals, Fertilizer, Infrastructure Development and Ship Building industries etc., ranging from AE-Sr. Engr-Manager-DGM-GM-VP-Sr. VP. He Hands-on experience of operation & management in Chemical & Petro-chemical industry, Project Management, Infrastructure Development, Supply Chain Management, Technical Training, HR Management, Administration, Corporate Affairs, Ship Building etc. Presently he is a Management consultant and a Professional corporate Trainer. Invited speaker for webinars, seminars and talk-shows. Conducted many training programs on management topics in Assam & pan-India. Empaneled & actively involved with National Productivity Council (NPC) as Principal Consultant & Advisor. He is a A free-lance writer, in English & Assamese, columnist in leading dailies and magazines. A regular All India Radio talker on technical topics. Over 200 published articles on wide ranging subjects to credit. He was Invited speaker to a few Management Institutes and Universities.He is also an Advisor & Mentor, BB Engineering College Innovation cell, Kokrajhar. A mentor with Bharat Yuba Sakti Trust as well a Director  & Vice President of Guwahati Management Association.
