Sunil Kumar Basumatary

Shri Sunil Kr. Basumatary is professionally trained in Public Speaking with special focus on Personality Development and Leadership. After completing his B,Sc in Economics from Cotton College Guwahati and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi, he worked in many social development organizations both Government and Non-Government organizations holding key positions. After serving 20 years in National Service Scheme (NSS), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, he took Voluntary Retirement (VRS) on 28th of February 2019 (while serving as Head of Office of NSS Headquarter, Delhi) to fulfill his passion for becoming a Motivational Speaker with an objective to better the society through bringing positive changes in the people and youth in particular. His powerful presentations have inspired thousands of youth throughout the country while serving in NSS for the last 20 years.

Shri Basumatary apart from training and motivational speaking, he is also a certified Life and Leadership Coach. In recognition to his leadership qualities, the Government of India has deputed him as National Leader to represent India in the Ship for World Youth Programme during which he visited Japan, Singapore, Mauritius and Kenya. He was also deputed to attend international seminar in countries like Sri Lanka (Colombo) and Cambodia (Siem Reap).
